I, for one, was never a fan of basketball. As in, total ZERO love/interest for the game. Firstly, because I'm the lame girl who can't even properly shoot a ball and secondly, I just don't get why this game is so popular.
But once in a while in a person's life, something happens which will either strengthen all that he stands for or will make him turn against all those that exemplify who he used to be. Haha in short, I'm a big fan now.
Last summer, I flew all the way to Illinois, U.S.A. with my mom and siblings. One of the many things that left a great impression on me was my getting the chance to watch three NBA games LIVE in Chicago.
At first, I was absolutely NR = No Reaction. Of course, it made me glad that I am actually watching a real NBA game - the thought of that is just uh-mazing, right? But I couldn't even name a single player there except for Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen! Yes, that was how unknowing I was.
The first game we watched was during the regular season, Phoenix Suns vs. Chicago Bulls. The player who immediately caught my eye was Joakim Noah. Maybe because he was the tallest, but I think it's more than that. LOL it was more like a crush at first sight. He was my first crush there and he still is I don't care what other people say! Hahaha. Anyway, BULLS WON!
Before we went home, we bought souvenir Bulls shirts. #1 Derrick Rose for my brother, #26 Kyle Korver for my sister and of course of course of course.... #13 Joakim Noah for me! The one in the ticket is Noah. :""""> :))))
Here are a couple of pictures from the first game.
On our way to the United Center. Julian's pretending to sleep just so he could rest his head on our shoulders. Cute and annoying at the same time
I know it was springtime when we came there but it's still too cold for me and I still couldn't adapt to the weather! It's something I never had to deal with my whole life in the Philippines. Maybe it was only psychological, but I still felt freezing even when we already went in. Thus, the fat brown jacket.
Off to the souvenir shop after the game!
The Chicago Bulls shirts along with the tickets. Ayun si Joakim Noah! :">
The second game we went to was that of Chicago Bulls vs. Atlanta Hawks Game1. It was the semi-finals season, if I remember it right. We took these photos and wore our red shirts with pride!
Feeling lang muna
Hayz, nagtatalo nanaman...
Sorry sissy, dahil sa kakulitan namin ni bro ito lang solo pic mo. :-D
I was becoming more and more affected with the players' performance and how things will end up in the last quarter. I was even thisclose to making Joakim Noah as my profile picture in Facebook haha
How could my bro be so lucky to be surrounded with hot girls at such a young age! :))
Joakim Noah - 13
Derrick Rose - 1
Kyle Korver - 26
A man was roaming around giving out these free balloon stuff.

This was the time when Derrick Rose was just recently hailed MVP. The crowd, including I and my siblings and my mother, were all cheering for him. To tell you honestly, I think he's my second crush next to Joakim Noah hehe
With his mother and brothers awwww
Hello United Center! The hype of the moment was breathtaking and unforgettable on my part. I'm sure it was SO much more for my mom and sibs. My amazement with the Bulls is only secondary to theirs
What are the odds?! My seat number was Joakim Noah's jersey number awweee hahahaha
Make some noise! (weh Blesse)
I love this mascot guy.
That moment when everyone else in United Center is one with Derrick Rose's moment of victory!!!!!
During the 12-minute half-time break, entertainment numbers by professional performers are done and that's another thing I love about watching the game live.
This huge balloon thingy floats around during the break and gives away shirts for people in the audience to catch. Too bad our seats were pretty far from the area it can cover. :))
One word: LEGENDARY
3rd Quarter is on!!
Make some more noise!
Aaaaaaanddddddddd Bulls win!
After every game, a player will be hailed star player of the game (not sure if that's how you call it) and will be quickly interviewed. You would know who it is from the game you just watched and whoever it is who stays to be interviewed. Todo kilig lang naman ako kasi si super happy crush Joakim Noah lang naman ang player of that night.
See how cute he is?
This was so timely for our shirts! L-R Korver, NOAH, Rose.
Boo height difference! #bitter
Thank you, mom, for taking this picture of me.
Aaaannndddd that sums up the first two games we've seen! :-) I'll share about the 3rd and last game in another entry because that one's extra special and I was anxious for this post to be published right after I finish blabbing about the two games. Hihi.
Thank you very much for reading! :-)
